- Actually, Namasteezy is a record label.... What we don't need is corporate deceit, there is nothing wrong with records labels, as long as they are not one of the big corporate five. That pretty much means label are your activist support. Artists have been stuck on tech trends, the whole idea of being signed to a label is just a concept people got stuck on while chasing big label dreams. True indy labels that work interdependently with the artist and other labels are about team work! Namasteezy has to do with the unity it takes to work interdependently! Indy scenes become hipster and scenster, then exclusive and then bird feed for corporations. 6th sensory people ask, "how are we in it together?" How can we differentiate the true indy from the hipsters that are just in it for themselves. Indy is dead, ego driven scenes didn't get us anywhere! Its time for the Interdependent movement, a return to activism that can see through the secret ones who call themselves "Indy". True indy is the flip mode, its the collective force of indy's working alone AND together!
